I think for those of us on a journey to fitness, health and a better body need to remember this. Whether we started big or small, people need to love us at that stage, because if they don’t, they don’t deserve us when we reach our goals.
kennie2 asked: im stealing all your british followers btw :p hope you dont mind
No they’re mine, my own, my precious!
startinganewleaf asked: im british too. WOOoooooo. i wish i was a man so i could eat loads and want to gain weight instead of the opposite LOL.
More Brits!! It’s a curse though, constantly eating!
Watched Any Given Sunday again last night, I’ll be fighting for those inches in the gym tomorrow.
Workout 27/1/12
Not bad today, still not quite started the full routine but a nice way to ease back in after being ill.
Bench Press - 2 x 10 (40kg/88lbs) 1 x 10 (45kg/99lbs)
Bent over Row (dumbbell) - 3 x 10 (18kg/39lbs)
Tricep pulldown - 3 x 15 (15kg/33lbs)
Military Press - 2 x 10 (25kg/55lbs)
Bicep pulldown - 1 x 10 (45kg/99lbs) 2 x 10 (50kg/110lbs)
I’ve noticed my weights gradually increasing, but will aim to pick up a little more speed. More isolations today than I would have liked but the real routine starts Monday.
whoruntheworld-gays asked: whoa you gained alot fast then, is it all muscle? because i eat alot, like 4 to five means a day too, but mostly healthy stuff, and I dont want to eat really fatty stuff because i dont want my muscle definition to be covered with fat:p i just need to bulk my legs up:(
A fair amount of it is muscle. I aim to eat as healthy as possible, but big, calorie dense meals. Pasta, Chicken, Fish, Turkey, Potatoes, Cheese, Whole Milk etc. A lot of my weight gain has been muscle, but of course, when bulking there will be some fat gain. It’s nothing I can’t handle, as when it comes time to cut, I’ll be able to shed it. Just keep eating and squatting for those legs!
whoruntheworld-gays asked: When did you start working out? I can't seem to put weight on my legs:( I was 138 pounds for a couple of weeks but now I'm back down to 131:(
I started around October, but sorted out my diet much earlier than that. I’d say bulking is 95% diet. I went from eating next to nothing, or at best, one meal a day, to eating 4/5 times a day, in large portions. I’m currently getting about 3500 calories, but aiming for 4000 a day. It’s literally just this and keep making the weights heavier. Good Luck!
